They arrived Friday evening and we hung out and had pizza. Then Saturday we took our time getting ready and spent the afternoon at Science City. We've never been to Science City on a Saturday, and this particular Saturday happened to be "Harry Potter Day," so it was pretty busy... to say the least. But we all had fun exploring, and Science City really is big, so most exhibits were easy to navigate.

Sunday we hung out some more, went for a walk around the neighborhood, had lunch, and then they had to leave.
Our kids played together really well too... Granted most of the time they were on their tablets playing Minecraft (Leslie was on her tablet watching Daniel Tiger), but it was a gentle reminder of how fast our kids are growing up.
It is always so fun to get together with them. They are really easy-going and fun. We shared lots of laughs, wine, and good times. Until next time!

And a bonus video... Almost every afternoon we have "quiet time" where the kids usually get on their tablets and I play around on my computer. This afternoon Daniel was cracking up. I turned to see him watching Shaun the Sheep. Someday I want to be able to look at this video and remember the true belly laugh of a seven-year-old boy:
