Sad Week

To say it has been a difficult week around here would be an understatement.  On Wednesday, my Grandmother passed away.  She was incredibly important and influential in my life and we all loved her dearly.  I am so thankful that she was able to meet Daniel and Leslie and will treasure those memories, and so many others, forever.

And then, yesterday, we had to say goodbye to our first 'baby', Trixie.  She had been with us for almost as long as we've been married, moved around the country with us, and been our constant, loving companion.  Things just don't feel right around here without her.
