Summer Fun

This will likely be short again, because, well, we're still pretty boring these days.  Here are a few pictures and videos of our lives over the last few weeks:

We had to cut down our red bud tree since it had mold damage. :(

Water table fun... We've had this for probably 7 years now, and the kids still love playing with it.

We joined a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) and love it!  Our local farmer delivers us a box of fresh fruits and vegetables from their farm each Thursday.  The kids get so excited to see what Farmer Karin brings each week (me too!).

We've been to the pool a few more times.  This was a quiet day.

Cuties!

Leslie's last day of preschool was yesterday.  Daniel has been begging for Wendy's.  So in celebration of our last day hanging out just the two of us while Leslie's at school and Daddy is at work, we went through the drive-thru.  He was elated!  It's been nice to spend some one-on-one time with him.  I'll miss our car chats (when he's not reading) and having him as my errand buddy.

Our beloved Ms. Leslie (preschool teacher) gave the kids a box of popsicles in celebration of the last day of preschool.  We sure will miss that place and all the friendly, kind, smiling faces.

Playing outside... riding on a toy only meant for one... just waiting for someone to get hurt, but hearing lots of giggles.

As a family, we recently watched the musical, Hamilton, and LOVED it.  Leslie has most of the songs now memorized.  She was glad to perform one of her favorites for us:

  1. Love posts from your family. I especially think the photo of Bobby and Leslie is gorgeous.
