Easter & More Quarantine

Sunday was Easter.  We stayed home as we have to do these days, but we still managed to do lots of fun things.  We kept it simple.  Bobby made his "famous" family recipe for spaghetti sauce and meatballs... Yum!  The kids had fun playing with their new gifts from the Easter bunny, we walked before the weather got cold, played board games, video chatted with family and friends, and relaxed.  Here are a couple of videos from Easter morning:

And a few pictures:

I think they had the most fun mixing all the colors together after the eggs were done.

Leslie left the Easter Bunny some sweet notes.

In other random news, we celebrated a friend's birthday by car parade, honking and yelling birthday wishes from the car.  It made me a little emotional.  I felt bad that this is what we have to do for birthdays now, but it was also amazing to be a part of.  It was a beautiful act of how friends and community members can come together for each other.  I think we were one of 30+ cars.  What a great way to celebrate a 5-year-olds birthday during quarantine!
First time the kids have been in the car in about a month.
Bobby chatted with his sisters and Dad one evening.  It was a lot of fun!

Lots of playing outside... Here's an action shot of Daniel jumping for a bubble.

Daniel's sweet teacher, Mrs. Elbert, wrote him a card and sent it to our house.  We adore her!
