We celebrated Easter this weekend. The kids didn't have school on Friday, so Bobby took the day off and we all went to Worlds of Fun. (We're getting great use out of our annual passes!) Here are some pictures and videos from the day:
Saturday the kids finished up swimming lessons in the morning. Then later in the afternoon we dyed Easter eggs.
When we realized we let the eggs stay at room temperature for too long, we decided to have a little egg throwing fun... Let's just say cleaning up wasn't quite as fun.
Saturday evening, we put the kids to bed. We've been having some difficulty with Leslie when it's time for us to leave her room at bedtime. She gets really attached and doesn't want us to leave. It's usually over in a minute or two after an extra hug or kiss. But Saturday night, knowing that the Easter Bunny was going to visit, she told us to "Get out right away! Hurry! He's coming!" It was hilarious. Since Daniel's in on the whole Easter Bunny situation, he asked if he could help hide the eggs for the morning. He was so excited about it, we couldn't say no! It was awesome to see the joy on his face knowing that the next morning would be so fun.
Sunday morning the kids woke up bright and early... No surprises there. Also, I don't know what happened to the Easter Bunny this year, but he went a little overboard. Guess he was just really excited about Spring and Summer activities!

Bonus weekly stuff -
Thursday, Daniel went on a class field trip to SeaLife Aquarium, the Coterie Theater, and Kaleidoscope. He had an awesome time. One of the chaperones was his friend Taylor's mom. She sent me a text during the day with some cute pictures. We're glad he had fun.
Leslie LOVES the money bars at gymnastics. Here's a video of her during a circuit:
