37 Weeks

Today I am 37 weeks pregnant with Little Sister!  We are two weeks away from the big arrival day on October 13 (unless she surprises us and comes early).  I've said it before, but this pregnancy is a lot different.  Thankfully I don't have near the swelling I did with Daniel.  The trade-off to that is I'm having a fairly decent amount of Braxton Hicks contractions.  It doesn't typically hurt too bad, but it is uncomfortable.

My biggest complaint is, and always has been with this pregnancy... sleep.  I am having a terrible time sleeping.  I saw every hour last night.  Usually I can go right back to sleep, but waking every hour sure is getting old.  I'm also having a difficult time getting comfortable.  I've tried sleeping with multiple pillows, but at this point, nothing really seems to work.

I may have mentioned heartburn before... it's basically gone now.  I have a prescription for Zantac and it's helping greatly.

We went last Tuesday for a checkup.  Her heartbeat was 148 and everything seems to be going along great!  We get to go on Tuesday again for another weekly checkup.  We're getting more and more anxious to meet Little Sister!  Time is going by so fast but also so slow.  I know, I know... she'll be here before we know it.  :)

A little Daniel update - We're trying to soak up the remainder of warmer temperatures (even though I am super excited for Fall temperatures).  This evening we played outside for a bit.  Daniel is really starting to get the hang of his "Ziggle."

Also, on Friday we went to Paradise Park - one of Daniel's favorite places.  They had some fishing poles and a small pond of magnetic fish.  Ironically enough, it was me who taught Daniel how to fish.  Sure the fishing poles and fish were magnetic, but that still counts.
