Daniel turned 8 months on Tuesday! He is a busy boy, scooting around on his bottom using a hand behind him and a foot in front to propel himself. He enjoys pulling himself up to a standing position while holding on to someone's hands and rolling from tummy to back and back to tummy while in his crib or on the floor. Daniel is also beginning to master the pincer grasp (picking up small objects with his thumb and first finger). He has four bottles and three solids each day, so much of his day is spent eating! It's a good way to break up the day, and he is a very good eater. So far the only foods he doesn't like are sweet potatoes and peas. (It's ok, Daniel. Mommy isn't too crazy about either one of those foods either.)
I know we've said it before, but we absolutely adore being Daniel's parents. He is such a joy, and it's so fun to watch him grow. Each month it seems we have more and more fun with him. We are lucky he's such a good boy! Also, we had some wonderful family members visit us last weekend. We will post about that soon!
